Our Family Chats go for one hour using the Zoom Meetings platform. Held once a month on a Wednesday and Friday.
All members are encouraged to take part if possible!
The chats are aimed at parents with time for the following:
- Greeting
- Short word of encouragement - Manager
- A.C.E. or Homeschooling 'Tips and Tricks'
- Q & A Time

"I have also enjoyed the Friday chats too. I watched the recording of the one about failed tests and learnt a lot. Because I hadn't been taught how to use the PACE system like that I had struggled to understand why Jediah and Emelia could pass a self test and fail a Pace Test. Also, Jediah had just failed a self test in Maths before I watched that video and it really prepared me to help him. He just passed the PACE Test yesterday, only making two small calculation errors and he remarked he felt really confident to do the test (He normally doesn't like maths). Such a blessing going forward. Looking forward to tomorrow's chat."

"I have been busy juggling other unrelated responsibilities on top of being Tiamai's teacher and forgot all about the Accelerate Christian Home Schooling website. I haven't been back since doing the Parent Training a couple of months ago. The discussion around the website was a great reminder to utilise it more.
